Al Ahli signs Aida Bakhos, ex Club Beirut

Aida Bakhos

Al Ahli (D1) signed experienced 37-year old Lebanese ex-international forward Aida Bakhos (178cm-1986, college: Lamar). Bakhos moved there from Club Beirut in Lebanese WLBL where she played this season. She helped them to win the League title.
Bakhos also represented Lebanon at the FIBA Asia Cup Division B in India six years ago. Bakhos' team won Bronze and her stats at that event were 6 games: 6.7ppg, 4.7rpg, 1.3apg, FGP: 29.3%, 3PT: 25.0%, FT: 65.0%.
She has played previously professionally also in Germany (Rheinland) and Lebanon (Homentmen Antelias and Al Riyadi).
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others she was voted to Eurobasket.com Mediterranean Cup All-Defensive Team back in 2018.
Bakhos is close to retirement age as a player. It's very possible she may end her playing career at Al Ahli.
She graduated from Lamar University in 2008 and it is her 15th (!!!) season as a professional player.
